UNIPAKNILE has been proud holder of the BRC certification, an internationally recognized mark of food safety, quality, and consumer protection, for 2 years. Thus, the food safety protocols have always been our manual with every practice, and it wasn’t any different with the COVID-19 outbreak.
With certifications issued through a global network of accredited certification bodies, BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging materials ensures that products are produced within a suitably hygienic environment and consistently meeting the quality and product safety expectations of its customers.
While constantly assessing security arrangements to make sure all products are safe from any deliberate attempts to inflict contamination or damage, the personal hygiene standards of BRC accredited sites are taken seriously to minimize the risk of product contamination from personnel.
It has always been our duty as a BRC certified plant, to maintain the basic environmental and operational conditions that identify, evaluate, and control potential risks either through existing prerequisite programs, such as cleaning, pest control and maintenance, or by the introduction of specific controls.
UNIPAKNILE also gives extensive training to their employees on the symptoms of infections, and enforces strict rules when it comes to reporting these conditions and screening visitors and contractors for symptoms before allowing direct contact or handling of the product.

BRC certification is an internationally recognized mark of food safety and quality. Certification is achieved by undertaking a third-party audit against Standard requirements by an accredited certification body (CB). BRC rates CBs on their technical performance and efficiency in customer service.
