On October 14, 2024, UNIPAKHELLAS organised its second Blood Donation Day of the year, reinforcing its commitment to creating a dedicated blood bank for employees and their families. This growing initiative ensures that, in times of need, life-saving support is always within reach.

The event was held at our facilities in Thessaloniki and Pelasgia, with additional donations collected at Athens General Hospital Gennimatas in Athens and Venizelio General Hospital of Heraklion in Crete. Volunteers also had the opportunity to register as bone marrow donors, contributing to a global network that provides hope to patients requiring transplants.

This round, we collected an impressive total of 73 units of blood, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of employees. The event is becoming a cherished tradition, reflecting the company’s sense of solidarity and shared responsibility. Accompanied by expert medical staff, the donation day ran smoothly and safely, making the experience enjoyable and meaningful for our people.

UNIPAKHELLAS’ blood donation initiative embodies its belief that sustainability starts with caring for people. Acts of solidarity such as these build a foundation of trust and compassion—ensuring support when it matters most and creating a positive impact within the community.
